Salon Lavan, Elsternwick

I had been searching for a good hairdresser for 'ages' and came across 'Salon Lavan' after discovering this wonderful website. Lee is absolutely terrific. She listens to what you want, and she was able to get my hair color just right. I also like my hair quite long and she only trimmed a tiny bit off the ends (unlike other scissor happy hairdressers!) The salon is lovely, and there is a great area for kids to play (for mums with children this would be great!) I also really liked how at my first appointment with Lee she said that when she sees a new client she doesn't book anyone else in just so she can spend quality time with you. I highly recommend Lee - and I am very grateful to this website and for people's contributions.

I started going to Lee a few months ago after reading about her on womow. I rarely go to the same hairdresser twice as I have never had a colour/cut that I was really impressed with but I have gone back to Lee about 4 times now. My colour just looks so much better than previously and seems to stay looking good for so much longer. I am also happy with my cut, she seems to just know what you want. I bring my kids and she is very tolerant! There is a little play area and she has the best kids dvds. She also gave them a great haircut last time.

I visited Lee after a bad experience with another hairdresser. Based on her glowing reviews, I was expecting good things, and I wasn't disappointed! I only had a trim (told you I was nervous, coming off a bad experience), but Lee put me at ease, didn't try to push products on me and did a great job. I will definitely return to get a more adventurous Summer cut!

I booked in after reading on WOMOW. Lee didn't take much off my length (which was good as I hadn't been to the hairdresser in 1 year after a dodgy job somewhere else and was worried she would suggest a crazy cut and colour) and without using any unnecessary products she gave me a quick straightening blow-wave afterwards. No mention of colouring or products - nice and simple for me! I have thin hair and the cut kept length but gave it some volume up top. Perfect for me and to get me trusting hairdressers again. Thanks Lee!

I have been going to Lee for 10 years when she moves I move with her. My colour is great I think she is the best colorist I have ever had. I have recommended her to family and friends. She will always accomodate me and fit me in. Always has my favourite Tea at hand and lots of all the gossip mags to read while I have my hair done. Always leave feeling good.

lee is the best colourist in melbourne i have being going to lee for over fifteen years,she will always fit you in if you need something done at short notice ,i always feel great when i leave the salon ,and many times strangers in the street and ask me who does your hair the colour and cut are great their is nothing she cant do

Always willing to fit you in for an appointment...Lee is a great stylist (and I have short hair which need cutting every month...so I know)....Lee is great...she also has a wide range of magazines to read!!!!!
