Well Luna, now that you have the recipes, why don't you just stay home and cook!

Okay Luna, you have obviously never worked in the food industry. Sure, it isn't too difficult to make those recipes for your family, but we are talking about a business here! Did you consider the costs of labor? On top of that Australian businesses have to pay super and the minimum wage is more than double what it is in America. I've eaten at Misty's many times and I absolutely love the food. EVEN the onion rings and corn dogs. At most diners I visited in America, the corn dogs were ordered out as were the onion rings. If Misty were to make her own onion rings and corn dogs, she would probably have to double the price due to the expense of the ingredients and the labor from making them. How many people would pay $10 for a corn dog, even if Misty had made it herself??? And suggesting Misty buy a corn muffin MIX from the USA food store? Do you even realize how expensive that would be?? Just so you know Luna, some would say, by using a MIX that isn't using FRESH food. Mixes are highly processed. How about you post a recipe next time that actually uses fresh ingredients. Like corn meal..... My grandmother would kill me if she even suspected I was using a corn muffin MIX!

This is hilarious -- and impressive. We made a negative rating on Misty's last night and in the space of 24 hours 7 new ratings appear -- SEVEN in one day! Totalling over 900 words. WOMOW staff, how does this compare to the WOMOW average? Misty, you have an impressive war machine. I stand by my comments. The decor, ambience and service were great, the food was not. Sorry. Try to make it better. And if the food is not processed, frozen or bought of the shelf as you claim, how the hell did you make it taste as if it were? I'm not here for a flame war although it looks like we have a beauty happening here with the Attack of The Clones. Maybe we came on an off night. Obviously wouldn't dare go back -- we'd be whacked by your army. I repeat -- great concept restaurant executed beautifully, with great decor, ambience and service. But the night we were there, the food tasted and looked processed. We left it mostly uneaten. Which is a shame.
