It was great. For a while now I have been trying to find a place for the mrs to sample some chili cheese fries just like in the USA..I am now happy to have found it.

The burgers were great and what I had was excellent. I look forward to sampling more things from the menu next time.

Maybe for the real authentic American experience, free refills on soda should be offered. Now that would complete me and I would make the 45 min drive once a week!

Very happy with the service from everyone and the taste of the food. My only criticism, and I see a lot of diners before me have mentioned here, is the burgers and other meal items should be cheaper or include chilli fries in their price. I am not being 'tight', I am trying to be helpful as I work in insolvency. I've seen a lot of other good quality places charge significantly less for the same type of quality meals so it wouldn't be that hard or expensive to the owners. Otherwise, great dining experience, thank you. Looking forward to my next meal there!

The meal sizes are just 'wowee'. I was just amazed at the size. It had lots of taste but the best was the american float. With the swirl of icecream in the bottom you felt like it was going on forever (in a good way)

Our friends called us to ask if we wanted to have dinner with them at Misty's, we had never been there before so wanted to see what they're raving about. We got fantastic service, amazing food and such a wonderful place to spend an evening. Lots of new and exciting things we don't have to in Australia to try and the taste of the food is unbelievable, best I've had in a very long time. Played the pin-ball machine and looked at all the products of food and drink you can take home, of course I got a Twinkie cause I'd never had one before. Great place, recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Nice atmosphere and service. I liked that there were so many American things to chose from. Since I couldn't eat everything I wanted in one sitting, I chose the cheese sticks and mushrooms. They were fabulous. Not sure how you do it, but did even appear fried - no grease and no taste of oil. Will come back and order something different unless I'm in the mood again for the cheese/shrooms. Hubby enjoyed the burger and the fries/chips with spicy chilly sauce and cheese.

We found the works car wash on the internet and thought we may as well eat at Mistys, and what a great decision that turned out to be! To be honest we weren't expecting the best, when you think of a diner that does "the best" burgers you automatically think big greasy mess that will repeat on you all day, oh how wrong we were. These are the best homemade hamburgers we have ever had in melbourne! We were even given instructions on how to eat them without half of it ending up on your lap. I really felt like i was in an authentic american diner, ( just think Happy Days) the food, the service was fantastic, it really felt like an experience! Thank you again, we will definitly be back!

Misty is so pleasant and was very hospitable. I wanted to know what the different sauces were so she just put them all on a plate with a few fries for me, very nice instead of just describing the sauces. Misty was great conversation I liked the diner feel.

AliceY, I do not know you or the customer complaining, but assuming you are the waiter - instead of telling the customer what they should have done different, your job should be to apologise if anything for misunderstanding. If you did not understand- you should have made sure you got it right. I am a restautant manager and I hope my staff have better manners.

customer service was very good the staff was very friendly. looking forward to go again warm and friendly ambiance with a lot to choose from. the spiciness to choose from was also good in variety. felt like moving back in time but on seeing the prices came back to present :( bit to expensive for regular visits

My husband is from Wyoming and has been pretty homesick over the last few months. We had gone to places like Happy Days Diner, Soda Rock, but found it wasn't anything like the food and service you get in America. After a little researching on the net, I was delighted to see that Misty's Diner existed and so we headed out as soon as the weekend came. My husband ordered the choc-caramel thickshake, french dip and a side of chilli cheese fries. I ordered the American red float, cheeseburger and side of taco fries. Needless to say we ate so much that we were uncomfortable the rest of the day, but boy was it a fantastic meal. We got the chance to have a chat with Misty and found her to be really lovely and helpful. My husband was thrilled to hear a familar accent and have a little taste of home. We look forward to our next trip to Misty's Diner. Keep up the good work!
