Misty's 1950's Diner, Prahran

There was authentic 50's diner settings everywhere. Mini jukeboxes, records, booths and all in aqua and pink colors! The food was spectacular, especially the XXX sauce made by Misty herself. And Misty's there everyday she can be, serving customers personally and even stopping to have a chat. I think this is one of the best diner's in Australia!

The very best American Diner in Australia! It's pretty simple - American service, American food, American candy and American flair. By the way, it's owned and operated by an American.

The food was very nice altogether, however I had a hard time choosing what to order; not only because of the choices but also the price. I wanted some fires but with two kids to pay for I knew I couldn't afford it as well as my burger. Overall a nice experience tainted by the large bill.

Well where do i start?

the food was yummy but i didn't think of it as an American diner. I am American myself and i was slightly disappointed. I would have liked a bigger serving of buffalo chicken wings. The milkshakes were good but i felt bloated and a bit gassy after the meal when i would have -profered to be full. the food was yummy though

The decor and range of food on the menu was amazing, and everything looked great. I ordered a burger in the end which was the best I've had for a while, and they accommodated my request to modify it. I was able to order drinks and candy which I haven't seen since I lived in the States, so the experience was well and truly unique.

Possibly the BEST atmosphere mied with the tastiest food. The chips were DELICIOUS. I'm addicted :( The people who work there are really friendly and even if your a tad difficult they serve you with kindness and aplomb. Just sitting in the booth and checking out the decor is enough to keep you occupied for a few hours. Definately a great source of a big meal if you were ever after a hunger quncher.

I actually go to Mist's a lot for her big breakfast on the weekends. Every time I go, all the staff are friendly, Misty herself will often come over to chat and make sure everyone's happy with their food. The big breakfast itself (which is what I'm most familiar with at Misty's is absolutely TERRIFIC. So large that often I can't finish, it's loaded with all the things that make breakfast such wonderful meal, bacon eggs and toast (of course), fried onions and mushrooms, tomato, and a hash brown to top things off. I went in for dinner the other night and had one of the burgers on offer, from memory I think it was the western burger. Again fantastic food, the barbecue sauce in particular was good as I'm pretty jaded with that, but it just hit the spot. And we got a side of wet fries and gravy, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND everyone tries them as they have to be the best french fry experience available...I didn't know french fries could taste so good! I go in all the time, and I'm going to keep going to Misty's for a long time to come.

1st time visit to the Diner and will most definitely return. The service was friendly and very helpful. The food was good and coffee great!! Can"t wait to try other dishes on the menu.

Regular customer over the last couple years and this place just keeps getting better. The menu has expanded about as big as my waistline has and the service is second to none. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic American diner experience.
