Misty's 1950's Diner, Prahran

The food was fantastic and very original for Melbourne; I am told by my friends it was very authentic using US ingredients and menus/styles! The waitress' were very friendly and the different choices of burgers is mind boggling at first. Absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone looking for something different, something really really nice and something entirely satisfying!

Wow! I felt like I had gone on holiday, what an experience. The choice on the menu was enormous and exciting, the food itself was hearty, tasty and well presented. It has been a long time since I was genuinely impressed by a meal.

I had lunch at Misty's last Sunday and got my car washed at the same time. Love the new outside deck (I sat outside, with my dog) and colour of the building. The food was delicious, the car looked beautiful and the waitress even provided water for my dog. Thanks to all at Misty's!

There is always a warm welcome at Misty's and the food is amazing! Having spend some while in the US this feels and tastes like the real thing. I can't go past the burgers which are lean and tasty and I'm addicted to the Jnr Mint & Oreo thickshake.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, the great smiles and the personalised service I received. The Home made ranch and blue cheese dressings were very tasty, and the variety of American foods made me remember my travels to that part of the world very fondly.

I moved to Australia several years ago and my partner decided to take me to Misty's last night as a surprise. And what a surprise it was! I haven't had a root beer float or a reese's peanut butter cup in a long time. Mmm, not only was Misty's food authentic American style but it was GOOD American food. Everything is homemade and absolutely wonderful.

Friendly staff keen to make your dining experience a positive one. The prices are very reasonable considering the generous size of the meals (make sure you're hungry to make the most of this).

We love going to Misty's - it's always a treat for our family. My 6 and 2 year-old boys are always welcome and love the food. My husband and I love that we can order corndogs and ask for root beer floats and people know what we're talking about!!

Misty is great and is super accommodating. My younger son has food allergies and Misty goes out of her way to prepare special meals to cater to his needs. This is probably the ONLY restaurant where they would be happy to do this!!

We never leave without buying Pop Tarts or Hershey's syrup either!!

Nice surroundings, sense of being in USA. Waitresses have American accents and will talk to you. Good atmosphere.If you're sick of plastic burgers, these have real thick and tasty beef in burgers, delicious 'Corndogs' (only here), yummy chips and l will get round to trying everything on the menu.

Great experience, food was wonderful, service was fantastic, Misty made us feel right at home and her friendlyness and superb customer service is one of the reasons i will go back many times, meal sizes are big so i certainly got my monies worth, if only we got service like this in restraunts all over, i dont live close by to the diner but its worth the drive for service and food
