Misty's 1950's Diner, Prahran

Really great burgers, great shakes and the fries are awesome. There are so many things on the menu it's hard to decide what to eat but in a good way!

Had a fantastic evening for my birthday dinner, great food and excellent atmosphere - although I think we pushed the kitchen a bit as there was a delay on food but we were a big crowd... The music is the best except it should be up louder!

A great American Diner where 8 off us met for my daughters sweet 16th birthday meal. A nice and informal venue with some lovely people working there. The menu has something for everyone

Went to have dinner last week at Misty's. Nothing special about this American restaurant .. 1st thing too much stuff on the menu ..i recommend to MINIMIZE THE SIZE OF THE MENU or ROTATE THE MENU EVERY SEASON? it will make it much better .. well the burger menu part are alright i guess but maybe check those un-necessary part im sure you can find it. its just too much .The staffs are very kind n lovely nothing to improved on A+ service , overall its ok dining at misty's diner

Just what I imagined an American dining experience to be like! everything is taken to the extreme 2,3,4 patties!ranch on this, smokey BBQ on that! Anyone for HOT SAUCE! BE AWARE if you ask for your hot sauce at "CRY" you will need some Kleenex! Can't wait to my next Melbourne trip maybe this time i'll make it to the dessert menu!

Fun,friendly,plenty of menu choice.Great staff also.The best burgers,chili,fries,drinks,dessert,music,and decor this side of 1959..Misty is a great host.

Food was great, such a big serve that we barely got through. Atmosphere was awesome, made us wish we were there for halloween, as the decorations looked cool as.

Definitely going there again very soon XD

We had a hankering for American food so decided to try Misty's - we weren't disappointed. The menu is expansive and we wanted to try so much more than our bellies would allow! The burgers were fresh and tasty, the "wet fries" made me wish I had ordered a full serve, chili-fries were delicious, the blue cheese dipping sauce was mouth-watering. There were dill pickles on the burgers, meals were served in baskets and there were American flags poking out of everything - just like diners I'd seen in films! Dessert was too tempting to resist but we had to share given the generous portions - the brownie was warm and moist and buried under cream and ice-cream. Yum. I also tried some of the Reece's Pieces thick shake - words escape me in attempting to describe the heavenly meeting of chocolate, peanut-butter and ice-cream in a drink...

I was hoping that the team would do flavoured Coca-Cola to order (ie. Lemon Coke, Chocolate Coke, Cherry Coke etc) - although this wasn't an option, the range of available beverages was enough to satisfy.

Then there's the lollies... all manner of sweets that as Aussie kids, we'd only ever seen on TV or in comics. Now I know what Ding-Dongs are!

We had an absolute ball and even though we were late to leave, Misty chatted with us as though she had all night and even interrupted her own meal to serve some customers who had arrived as we were leaving. Highly recommended to bring all of your American Diner fantasies to reality!

THE most amazing food I have ever had. Mates and I went here and had burgers and wet fries.. I have not had such a delicious burger anywhere. This place rocks. Misty is the most friendly honest host you could wish for in a restaurant. She was even the one who personally cooked our burgers.

After being in America last year with my husband and children and experiencing the American food and hospitality we all went on Saturday night to check out Misty's. To say we felt like we where back in America is an understatement. From the time we walked in the door Misty made us feel so welcomed it was incredible. Her passion for her food is refreshing and her warmth towards her clients is genuine. Well done Misty in bringing a bit of America to Melbourne.
