Marty's Fish Shop, Ballarat

We often buy from Marty's Fish Shop as we've been gluten free for some time now. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend giving the broccoli or mushrooms in batter and my kids LOVE the pumpkin cakes!

Best fish and chips around! Love the gluten free, you can eat take away without feeling sick afterwards. Recommend this business to everyone, especially coeliacs. Well done Marty's!!!!!!!!!!

We found that the chips were ok, but pretty bland compared to many other places we've been to. The potato cakes were undercooked and the fish cakes incredibly salty. We have been there twice but probably wouldn't go back again. The staff were really friendly though.

The girls at Marty's are second to none. Always happy, always laughing and always welcoming. I just buy the food so I can talk to all those great girls :)

have ordered from MARTY'S plenty of times, haven't been disappointed once! They do a great job and we keep going back for more. Fish and Pumpkin cakes are my favorites.

Quality Take Away Meal of Fish and Chips and supremely inviting Gluten Free option. Actually the GF batter is a lot nicer than the ordinary version - so bring it on!! Now with Kebabs, the variety is endless. Service is always quick and always friendly, Marty and the girls are the ones to catch up with for all the news.......and the position is close to the middle of town - very convenient!!

Each time we have visited this take away food shop, the service and food has been consistantly good. The staff are always friendly and happy to assist with any queries or concerns you may have relating to their 'gluten free' menu.

We were passing through Ballarat with a craving for a steak sandwich. Both of us consider ourselves connoisseurs of steak sandwiches and we came across Marty's Fish Shop - who indicated they also do steak sandwiches.

We were greeted by very friendly staff, followed by a promptly and freshly produced AMAZING steak sandwich. Everything was really fresh, properly cooked and of high quality - eg. nice thin steak with no fat.

We'll definately be back next time we're passing through Ballarat.

Went on Good Friday and considering the amount of food they pumped out they did really well. Great big piece of fish compared to what other fish and chip shops delier.

These are people who personalize your eating experience with them. They have a total commitment not just to conventional eating but to the aid of the Gluten free eating person. With out charging over the top prices which is usually associated with feeding the Gluten Free. the meals actually come at a very reasonable cost. Inexpensive quality food with some extra imaginative items on the menu.
